Ok seriously what am I even doing now. While wondering with Ama over the reason why dave and dirk even live in different towns in LC a lot of ideas happened. And I mean a lot. And it mainly ended up with Dave and Dirk having parents (Andy and Tess Strider).XDD (who already happen to have more background story than they should have haha.. Andy is a cop and Tess a lawyer : D ). Ama worked more on them and I just went on a jake-dirk as kids spree.

Jake met the others at the age of 10. Moving over from the jungle so he is a pretty weird kid who runs around with loaded real guns because you could be attacked at any time! His grandmother died so he lives with jane and her dad or/and grandpa whoever i decide on.

The jake and dirk in bed scene has the following story behind it:
Jake always sleeps with his guns under his pillow to be able to defend himself when he gets attacked at night. Because he HAD to do that sometimes while he was living in the jungle since it was a pretty dangerous place and you were never really safe. But grandpa Crocker or Dad thought that would be to dangerous so he took them away.
Causing Jake to have a lot of trouble sleeping. And becoming really tired and exhausted because he can't sleep.

And then a day when he is at dirks:
Jake and Dirk both sitting on Dirk's bed.
Jake: *yawns and can hardly keep his eyes open*
Dirk: Do you trust me?
Jake: huh? Yes, I do! Why?
Dirk: Then just sleep. I'll stay awake and protect you.
Jake: Aw really? Thank you so much, mate! I'll try.
*Jake closes eyes->immediately falls asleep*
Andy checks on them.
Andy: I think it's time for Jake to go home.
Dirk: Shh, he's sleeping.
Andy: I'm not surprised. He looked tired as hell. Is everything ok?
Dirk: Yeah, right now it is.
Andy: Ok vague answer but nevermind. I'll call the Crockers' and tell them Jake is spending the night.
Dirk: Thanks. *yawn*
Andy: Dirk, you should get some shuteye, too. Kids are supposed to sleep at night. That also goes for little kid Striders.
Dirk: No, I can't. I promised to stay awake to protect Jake from anything.
Andy: You know nothing ever happens at night here. We live in the city not in the jungle. What would you say if I check on you two from time to time so you can have some rest, too.
Dirk: No. He said he trusted me. He'll be sad if I break my promise.
Andy: Fine for tonight but don't let this become a habit.
Dirk: Sure thing.

Ok I seriously should shut up now.. I could write a ton more haha. Hope you like somewhat! Comments always make me happy : D
