Lost Chums
For those who don't know, this is my personal homestuck fangame project which will be a 2D-jump'n'run thing done in flash HTML5 (switched now xD ). I won't promise that I'll ever get it done but I love working on this. A lot of concept stuff is done so I think I can work on coding some more again soon. The levels would be each in a seperate deviation.

Current Status
working on character controls and sprites.

Basic plot
This is an AU. There is no Sburb or anything (though god tiering will happen but a bit different). The Alpha and Beta kids live on earth in different towns. Alpha kids being friends and Beta kids being friends. Dave knows Dirk since they are brothers but they don't know each other's friends.
One day Jade gets kidnapped by a spaceship commanded by jack noir and John, Dave and Rose leave to rescue her. Jake also got kidnapped so Dirk, Roxy and Jane go to rescue him.
On the spaceship they also find the aliens Karkat and Vriska who they free as well. And. A lot of stuff happens.

Pairings: John x Karkat, Dirk x Jake, Roxy x Jane

I thought I'd be nice and link all of the comics and animated gifs I did for this so far in chronological order. I'm going to try and update this every time I upload LC stuff : D

Lost Chums (game concept)
This is the game concept file I uploaded to dA. It's not up to date anymore but a lot of things have stayed the same. A lot of things got expanded but it can still give a bit of an overview of this whole thing.

The idea of this game is based on an old 2D jump'n'run game called Lost Vikings for SNES and PC. In the first part you had 3 vikings, one could jump, one could fight, one had a shield and you had to get all of the vikings to the end of a level by utilising all of their skills. It also had extremely funny dialogue at the beginning and end of each level.
In the 2nd game two characters were added with additional skills so you had 5 characters. You never had more than 3 at the same time though. Through teleporting around and stuff you always had 3 different characters in a level. Mixing around characters like this gives a lot of possibility for interesting level designs.
The game sometimes required a lot of thinking and a LOT of patience to complete because it's partly insanely hard.. but it's so much fun, too.
While playing it again I suddenly wondered what it would be like to have a homestuck game similar to this?.. and that's what started this thing h Game Concept

going to attend the connichi in kassel, germany from friday to sunday (7th-9th of September).

Right now my cosplay plans are:

Friday: Dirk Strider

Saturday: John Egbert (god tier) with vrillyhoo

Sunday: Jake English (or maaaybe Dirk again but I'll decide that based on the weather).

I don't know how many German watchers I have but do some of you attend the connichi too? and if so do you know if there is a homestuck meet planned?

Just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry that the comic pages are late now. Because of a lot of school things to do + the easter holidays and because I now want to finish my tribalstuck john cosplay which I spontaneously decided to do until may 5th... I have like NO time. To draw. If I can sneak it in somehow I may try to finish the next StS page which is about one third done. If I get the cosplay done really early I might be able to work on my comics again too but my school schedule right now is so tight that I am worried that I don't get it done on time anyway. Since it's a lot of work. And school is important. I have high expectations of myself..xD

On another note. HSO. Homestuck Shipping Olympics. I'm trying to enter either in team johnkarkat matesprit or jakedirk matesprit. is going to enter too but not on exactly the same things. We hope to get into the johnkarkat team together though but we might end up in different teams<.<
SO if I manage to enter I will probably also don't have much time for the comics until it's over because I want to create some awesome stuff for it : D
so please be patient. I'm still really motivated to work on them but I have to choose for the moment.

And after all of this I'm going to be back to weekly updates~

Got tagged by . I'm not going to post rules or stuff because I'm too lazy to invent some new questions and tag someone but here are my answers:
..I have the feeling this is going to be loong.

1. Chocolate or Vanilla?
Vanilla. I absolutely LOVE vanilla.

2. What's your full name?
Kevin H. (.. won't post my last name. name is not totally official yet but people call me that way already).

3. Why do people not like gay people? What are those homophobes problems?
I think the problems of most are the following: They just don't know anything about gay people and don't bother to learn anything about them. So they don't understand them and see them as weird and different. And different people get made fun of. Because many people LOVE to make fun of others who they don't see as 'normal'. Note to everyone... normal is boring.
And if they are guys they are afraid that the gay person might ..jump them or something.. and the other way round for girls being around a lesbian.
Another reason is religion. Some people just don't like them because they think it's wrong told by their religion.
And another reason is that they immediately think of anal sex and that it's disgusting or something like that. (concerning guys).

4. Do you believe gender stereotypes are right? Like girls belong in the kitchen and should do easy things and leave the difficult things to the men? That only girls are allowed to wear make-up and boys have to like football(American)?
While some people might fit into these categories.. many do not. And exactly those stereotypes are a big problem for those people who feel different. That they have to fill a certain gender role but just don't feel right that way. This is wrong. Everything should do what they like as long as it doesn't hurt others in a way. To pull of certain things as a certain gender you have to be very strong though. Which shouldn't be the case but because steretypes are SO strong in this society it sadly is the case.
Luckily I never even tried/wanted to fit any kind of role but I always hated having a female body. I never wanted to talk about stuff like clothes, make-up, etc.. and I also never wanted to talk about sports or cars.. (but video games, science, computers, maths, logical riddles, anime, manga, drawing ... there are only few people I can actually have longer conversations with who don't bore me.. .. I knew I would drift off to stuff about myself.. back to the questions.

5. What do you think about polygamy?
I doubt it can really work in a way that everyone is happy.. but I don't really care. Those who want to do it should do it but I feel sad for those who are forced into something like that.

6. Is there anyone(a friend, an actor, etc.) who you think is so attractive you'd go gay for them(or straight, if you are gay)?
No, and this is a kinda stupid question for me because I'm pansexual.. And I'm never just interested in attractive. The person has to be intelligent too.

7. Who is the most important person in your life?
sister, grandparents, cousin

8. SOPA/PIPA is fucking stupid and will 'cause more problems than solve any. Agree or not? Let's spread the HATE with this one.
I hope it won't really come true. Reminds me of a similar debate in Germany we recently had.. I was so angry.

9. Would you like children? If so, why or why not? How many, would you prefer a girl or boy? What would their names be?
No. I have so many things I want to work on. Raising a child is definitely not one of them. I like kids in general but only those of other people. (and kids usually like me.. I guess because I'm not like normal adults. XD )

10. Would you want to die young or old?
Old.
